Your Easter check list

Check List for the Easter Long Weekend

Do your Saturday or Sunday Shopping on Thursday if possible.

If you're going camping or away from the city try to leave early on Thursday morning if you can.

If you have taken off some days AFTER Easter depart mid day Sunday or Monday when its quiet.

Check your local Library opening hours.

Those in the wise may have already grabbed the good holiday reading but you may be lucky.

Avoid the Easter show unless you have lotsa of money

Lamb ... it is not obligatory to buy lamb or chocolate however keep an eye out for bargains and don't forget mint and peas go with lamb but other herbs work too!

Easter eggs are not the only Easter delicacies. If you have any "ethnic" bakeries nearby watch out for special Easter breads and pastries.

Relax in your own backyard or unit

Remember Doctor Who is on Sunday Night!

Finally don't forget this : Easter is a religious event !

Burra Turf Wars

The burras are restless there's a turf war for nesting sites going on right now
Have you noticed an angry undertone to the usual burra cackle the last few days? Yesterday I saw the locals chase off a young male bird but I think he hasnt given up yet since this morning the burras were not just studying their realm but glaring downwards to something or some one.
